Building Capacity Through Training, Technical Assistance & Resources
As a leading force behind the national ECE apprenticeship movement, ECEPTS plays a central role in building a broad, cross-sector network of employers, institutions of higher education, apprenticeship partners, policymakers, and other key stakeholders. What began as a loosely connected network of collaborators has evolved—through sustained outreach and shared purpose—into a vibrant community of learners. The community is committed to shaping best practice and collaborating across systems and states to strengthen the professional development and economic well-being of the ECE workforce. In support of this national field-building effort, ECEPTS sponsors training events and shares resources that foster connection, spark innovation, and fuel the continued expansion of ECE apprenticeships.
National Conference
The annual ECEPTS National Conference on ECE Apprenticeship showcases initiatives around the country and brings together a coalition of apprenticeship leaders and stakeholders committed to expanding this burgeoning field.

Deep Dive Webinars
ECEPTS’ Deep Dive Webinars focus on issues related to the creation, expansion and sustainability of Registered Apprenticeships for the ECE workforce. The information is geared to be useful to folks throughout the country who are working on initiatives in all stages of development (i.e., new, emerging, recently launched, well-established).
ECEPTS National Guidelines Standards
Standards of Apprenticeship are foundational documents that define the structure, requirements, and expectations of a Registered Apprenticeship program. ECEPTS has developed and registered standards for six ECE occupations that have been formally certified as National Guidelines Standards (NGS) by the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship. This certification affirms that the ECEPTS-developed standards meet all federal regulatory requirements and can be adopted or adapted by state and local apprenticeship agencies. Having certified National Guidelines Standards for ECE occupations strengthens the infrastructure for nationwide expansion of high-quality Registered Apprenticeships.
