Nohemy Catalan is the Senior Program Director at ECEPTS, bringing over a decade of experience in Early Care and Education (ECE). She has taught preschool and held various roles in community colleges, including instructional assistant and embedded tutor. Nohemy was instrumental in developing the Head Start Apprenticeship at the YMCA of the East Bay, supporting over 100 Apprentices in earning college degrees and teaching permits. Since 2022, Nohemy has been a Registered Apprenticeship Programs Director at ECEPTS, supporting community-based partnerships to develop and sustain new apprenticeship programs. Nohemy is deeply committed to training new and incumbent workers to provide quality ECE in a context that supports their success and builds upon their strengths. Nohemy holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development with a concentration in Early Childhood Development from CSU, East Bay.
