
Randi B. Wolfe, Ph.D., has worked in early care and education for more than 40 years. During that time, she has been a preschool teacher, child care center director, and family support center director. From 1997 through 2016, Dr. Wolfe was an Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education at Northern Illinois University. Since moving to California in 2007, she has focused on designing and implementing large-scale ECE workforce development initiatives, engaging diverse stakeholder groups (e.g., early care and education, workforce systems, institutions of higher education), and advancing systemic efforts to strengthen the delivery and impact of early learning and care. In 2019, Dr. Wolfe founded Early Care & Education Pathways to Success (ECEPTS), an organization dedicated to advancing the rigorous professional development and economic well-being of those who teach, nurture, and support young children and families. Dr. Wolfe has an Ed.M. in Instructional Leadership from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a Ph.D. in Human Development and Social Policy from Northwestern University.
