Building Career Pipelines: ECE Youth Apprenticeship Programs
Monday, November 13, 12-1 pm PST
ECEPTS is nationally recognized for pioneering efforts in creating and sustaining Registered Apprenticeships for the Early Care and Education (ECE) industry. Registered ECE Youth Apprenticeship programs provide work-based learning, paid employment, college credit, and industry-recognized credentials. Upon graduation from high school, participants are eligible to assume full-time positions in early learning centers and childcare programs. As well, ECE Youth Apprenticeships provide foundational training and education for a variety of career pathways (e.g., Child Care, Early Intervention, Expanded Learning, Head Start, Home Visitation, Pre-Kindergarten, Social Services). In this live webinar, members of the ECEPTS team discuss the recently launched ECEPTS Youth Apprenticeship program that is a collaboration with multiple high schools across the Oakland Unified School District in California.
Introducing ECEPTS: National Industry Intermediary for ECE

In this live webinar, ECEPTS Founder and Executive Director, Randi Wolfe, PhD, presents an overview of the intermediary supports and resources ECEPTS can provide to communities and employers interested in promoting and sustaining Registered Apprenticeships to meet the professional development needs of the diverse and essential ECE workforce. She will also explain how the ECEPTS apprenticeship model safeguards its commitment to equity, access, and participant success in all aspects of program design and delivery.
