Barbara E. Bartels, Ed.D. is the Chief Operating Office at ECEPTS. Her professional background has included extensive entrepreneurial work in both education and business arenas. She has a passion for organizational leadership, change management, and motivational theory in the workplace. Dr. Bartels received her B.S. in Special Education from Illinois State University, her M.B.A. from St. Mary’s College of California, and her Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University. She is co-founder of Meaning-Centered Leadership, LLC, and co-author of Meaning-Centered Leadership: Skills and Strategies for Increased Employee Well-Being and Organizational Success. She is an ardent advocate for better wages for educators and for increasing awareness of and support for ECE as an essential industry deserving of priority status in workforce development initiatives.
