Alicia Torres is a Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAPs) Director at ECEPTS. She is a passionate early childhood educator with 17 years of experience in building community to impact children, families, and early care providers. In the course of her career, Alicia has been a teacher, trainer, coach, site manager, and college lecturer. She has worked in non-profit organizations, higher education, and publicly funded ECE programs. She has a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, both from St. Mary’s College of California. Alicia has an abiding commitment to achieving long-term sustainability around economic investment in early care and education and for ECE educators’ wages and financial security.
